Resonance · How we read
We hear it while it is quiet, and we are still holding it when it is loud.
A position is taken when a business starts to move for the reasons we set out, and it is held until those reasons stop being true.
Four principles we do not trade away.
- 001
Hear it early
Every position starts as an observation. We follow a sector for years before we hold anything in it, so the terrain is known long before the money moves.
- 002
Own what we understand
Defence, Commodities, Tech, Financial services. There is no fifth. A sector we cannot explain in plain terms is one we do not hold, however well it is priced.
- 003
Cross the asset classes
Liquid markets, private equity and real estate are read on the same instrument. A signal in one decides a position in another. None of the three stands alone.
- 004
Downside before upside
Nothing compounds through a cycle it does not survive. The first bad year is priced into the case before we commit. Every case names what would make us wrong.
Process · Process · 4 steps
Readings · For founders · What we look for
- 001
Online-first
You sell, deliver and support online. A customer in another country buys exactly the same way.
- 002
Scalable operations
Your revenue grows faster than your payroll does. Twice the customers do not need twice the people.
- 003
High growth potential
Demand already outruns what you can serve. Capacity is the ceiling you keep hitting, not the market.
- 004
Capital efficient
You have grown this far on cash the business made itself. New money buys speed here, not survival.

Held · Chart · Sector × Asset class
12 cells. Each name is plotted where it sits.
A position starts with what the business earns, what it costs to run and what breaks it. Nothing is committed on a conversation.
12 / 12 cells
No named position in this view.
A grid of 4 sector columns and 3 asset-class rows. Each plotted point is a named private-equity position; the liquid-market and real-estate books are covered but not itemised.
Names published with permission.
Sector and class first; then the name, and what it does.

Guardian Defence Systems (opens in a new tab)
Licensed supplier and broker of dual-use and military equipment, with unmanned systems developed in house.
Defence · Private equity
Proma OÜ
Estonian software development house. The work is mainly defence, and that is the terrain we follow closest.
Tech · Private equity
Two Pillars Media (opens in a new tab)
Builds and runs the growth systems behind other online businesses: campaigns, content, and the platforms underneath.
Tech · Private equity
Apex & Pillar (opens in a new tab)
English-first Sofia law firm, with an IP and technology practice covering software, licensing and data.
Tech · Private equity
EduHub.bg (opens in a new tab)
An online school for the Bulgarian state exams: video lessons, practice tests and teacher-marked writing.
Point positions are illustrative within each cell. The plot names private-equity positions; the liquid-market and real-estate books are covered, not itemised.
Mandate · Mandate · Separately managed accounts
An account in your own name, read the way we read our own.
Every position in it is visible to you. The minimum is EUR 100,000, per account and per mandate; below that, the arrangement is not worth its own paperwork.

4 strategies. The list is closed.
A mandate runs one strategy, or a weighting across them. The list stays narrow on purpose. The weighting is written down before the account is opened. It is not changed by a phone call.
- 001Equity · Long-term
Core Quality Equity
Businesses that generate their own cash and owe little, bought at a price that allows for a bad year. Held through the cycle, not the quarter.
- 002Event-driven
Strategic Activism & Special Situations
Positions where a catalyst is already visible — a restructuring, a spin-off, a change of control. The written case comes before the position.
- 003Macro
Global Commodities & FX
Directional and relative-value positions in commodities and major currencies. Read against the same 6 exchange sessions we watch for ourselves.
- 004Private markets · Illiquid
Private Equity
Direct positions in unlisted companies across the same 4 sectors. There is no daily price to sell.
Who holds the account.
We define the strategies. The account is opened with, and the mandate carried out by, EU licensed investment intermediaries. MiFID II names that service portfolio management: mandates carried out on a discretionary, client-by-client basis. Nothing in your account funds anything of ours.
Capital placed under a mandate can be lost. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of what follows. Nothing on this page is an offer or a personal recommendation. Suitability is assessed by an EU licensed investment intermediary before a mandate is accepted.

3 desks. One watch.
We keep the watch from Sofia. Each desk below is listed by the posts it holds, not by the people who hold them. The same 3 standing orders bind every desk. A post is checkable; a biography is not.

Defence
Follows a European sector where the public record moves slowly. Sits on the licensing and export questions a founder in it cannot afford to get wrong. Policy is read before price.

How the watch is kept.
- 001
Read everything
Every message to the company is read by a principal, not a mailbox.
- 002
Write it down
No position is taken and no founder is backed without a written case.
- 003
Stay in the room
The people who commit the capital are the people who show up afterwards.
